Salary: $89,000 - 89,000 per year Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- At least five years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong understanding of the construction or HVAC sector.
- Solid knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems, and related building subsystems.
- Proven experience integrating low-voltage building subsystems using industry protocols such as LON and BACnet.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.
- Advanced computer proficiency, especially with computer-aided drafting tools.
- Broad awareness of how to apply our products and digital platforms to support customer satisfaction.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with excellent teamwork, attention to detail, adaptability, and tactful conflict resolution.
- Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with multiple graphics packages and computer language environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Logical reasoning and the ability to support and drive the construction process.
Responsibilities: - Serve as the primary engineering point of contact for assigned enterprise accounts.
- Ensure our engineering standards are applied consistently across construction activities and regions within the account domain.
- Support the sales team by educating customers on the engineering standards that best achieve their outcomes.
- Represent engineering during pre-bid activities and review shop drawings to verify alignment with customer expectations.
- Help ensure design milestones are met for enterprise account requirements.
- Implement customer design requirements and processes within our organization.
- Support the development and execution of enterprise-wide engineering practices, content, and solutions.
- Collaborate closely with enterprise customers and our field teams to align on strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise account stakeholders.
- Create communication channels to transfer design standards to centralized engineering and field teams, with an emphasis on consistency, efficiency, and quality.
- Drive initiatives that address enterprise account needs and coordinate field rollout, including KPI reporting when needed.
- Produce design documentation covering user management, disaster recovery, naming conventions, and database details.
- Provide branches and districts with access to databases, software, and standard documentation while keeping information current.
- Offer subject matter expertise in building technology, including analytics, optimization, server and network design, cybersecurity, system software, and hardware engineering.
- Work across multiple engineering and design teams to maintain standard practices and improve engineering efficiency.
- Deliver sales and technical support for enterprise-level initiatives and engineered solutions.
- Coordinate resolution of escalated engineering issues.
- Support HVAC controls activities involving Metasys servers and digital platforms, including performance, access, backups, and patching.
- Maintain the owners network and ensure buildings are ready for conversion from ROC to active owner systems after testing.
- Load and commission system and network-level controllers as required.
- Validate full system operation and resolve issues with subcontractors and other trades.
- Incorporate field change information into as-built drawings and software updates.
- Keep management and customers informed on project status and any issues.
- Organize and deliver site-specific training for owners and operators on the building control system.
- Promote and enforce safety standards for employees and subcontractors.
