Job Summary:

The Financial Clearance Analyst is responsible for conducting financial analytics into the patient’s overall financial responsibility and insurance requirements as it relates to the upcoming scheduled service within the ProMedica Healthcare System. Comprehensive analysis will be based on the verification of the patient’s coverage, the determination of authorization and referral requirements of the payer, and the calculation of the estimated patient responsibility. The efforts of the Financial Clearance Analyst are to assure the patient will have a clear understanding of their estimated responsibility prior to services being rendered. These efforts will result in increased net revenues, reduction of bad debt and denials.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in revenue cycle or healthcare related field.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• 1 year of direct revenue cycle customer service, collection, or financial assistance experience.

Salary Range - $31,200 - $84,640

This is a remote position; however, employment is limited to residents of certain U.S. states due to legal, tax, and regulatory requirements.
