Shift: Tuesday Friday | 7:30 AM 5:30 PM
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Mechanic II is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems supporting manufacturing, R&D, laboratory, and office facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R equipment and control systems
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC/R systems
Service air conditioners, chillers, boilers, compressors, pumps, air handlers, and refrigeration equipment
Install and replace motors, bearings, belts, seals, valves, and related components
Perform brazing and soldering on heating and cooling equipment
Order and install replacement parts as needed
Support GMP and safety compliance requirements
Utilize CMMS for maintenance activities and documentation
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Support facility and production equipment operations
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 3 years of commercial or industrial HVAC/R maintenance experience
Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
Experience with preventive maintenance programs
Ability to read and work with HVAC/R control systems
Preferred Qualifications:
EPA Refrigerant Certification
Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
Knowledge of CMMS systems
