Title: Immigration Associate Attorney

Location: Tampa, Florida (Hybrid/Remote options may be available)

A nationally recognized AM Law 200 firm is seeking a mid-level Associate Attorney to join its growing Immigration Practice Group. This opportunity offers the chance to work on sophisticated, high-value immigration matters within a collaborative team environment while gaining meaningful client interaction and increased responsibility.

The Associate Attorney will manage a diverse caseload of employment-based immigration matters while working closely with attorneys across the firm’s Labor, Employment, Benefits, and Immigration practice. This position provides the opportunity to handle cases from initial strategy through final adjudication while engaging directly with clients and government agencies.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload of immigration matters, including non-immigrant visas, employment-based and family-based green card processes, naturalization applications, waivers of inadmissibility, and I-9 compliance.
• Prepare and file complex immigration petitions and applications.
• Handle matters involving H-1B, O-1, P-1, E-2, L-1A/B, NIW, EB-1A/B/C, J-1 waivers, and PERM labor certifications, as well as responses to RFEs, NOIDs, and audits.
• Communicate with clients, government agencies, and internal legal teams regarding case progress and strategy.
• Take ownership of cases from initiation through completion with limited supervision.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff on complex immigration matters.

Qualifications:

• 4–6 years of experience practicing immigration law with a focus on employment-based immigration.
• Strong experience preparing and filing temporary work visas and permanent residence petitions.
• Excellent knowledge of immigration law, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Experience working with healthcare-related immigration matters is a plus.
• Bar Admission (Florida Bar admission preferred, but not required).
