Job Description

Salary: $76,000 - 110,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a technical associate degree with at least two years of field experience, or four years of equivalent related HVAC field experience.
• We need practical, hands-on expertise in systems design and commissioning of digital HVAC control systems.
• We require the ability to explain technical information clearly to a non-technical audience.
• We expect the capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Preferred qualifications include strong computer proficiency.
• Preferred qualifications include knowledge of control theory and HVAC systems.
• Preferred qualifications include familiarity with project accounting, costing principles, and contracting.

• We lead on-site control systems projects from planning through implementation and final completion.
• We handle hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, system and network commissioning, and project closeout.
• We manage project finances, including costs, billings, collections, profitability, and cash flow.
• We pursue change orders and assess the impact of scope changes, field directives, and scheduling adjustments.
• We coordinate ongoing communication with customers throughout all project phases.
• We oversee material selection, ordering, budgeting, delivery schedules, and supplier pricing.
• We direct subcontractors, electrical installers, technicians, designers, and administrative support as needed.
• We ensure installation work aligns with project requirements and our published standards.
• We verify device loading, complete commissioning, confirm system functionality, and resolve issues to support accurate operation.
• We provide coaching, mentoring, and technical support to technicians, installers, designers, and subcontractors.
• We prepare project forecasts and report progress, revenue, cost, and margin status to management.
• We deliver site-specific training, documentation, manuals, and warranty support to the owner or operator.
• We build and maintain long-term relationships with contractors, clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• We uphold all safety standards and ensure compliance with legal and ethical requirements.
